Rising Sun Ranch is an animal sanctuary located just outside of Abilene, Texas. We are home to a number of horses rescued from abuse and neglect. Our work encompasses rescue, rehabilitation, training, and hospice care for horses. Rising Sun Ranch is a lifetime sanctuary. Any animal accepted into our program has truly found “a place for good”. In other words, a home for the rest of life.
